We are an innovative organization transforming the way we perceive urban waste! With cutting-edge technology and an unbeatable commitment to sustainability, we transform urban solid organic waste into clean and renewable bioenergy. We believe that the future of energy lies in the circular economy, where waste becomes a valuable resource.
Our process reduces environmental impacts, reduces the emission of harmful gases and produces energy efficiently, contributing to a more sustainable planet. Join us on this journey of innovation and transformation!
Reduced Waste Disposal Costs Converting waste into ethanol reduces the need for and costs associated with traditional disposal, such as landfills or incineration.
Creating a New Revenue Source The ethanol produced can be used domestically as fuel, reducing the purchase of fossil fuels, or it can be sold as a new revenue source.
Energy Independence Second-generation ethanol production contributes to companies’ energy independence, reducing their vulnerability to fossil fuel price fluctuations.
Long-Term Cost Efficiency While the initial investment in second-generation ethanol production technology can be significant, the long-term benefits include stability and predictability in energy costs.
PRODUCTION PROCESS
Our process of gasifying urban solid waste into renewable energy is efficient and sustainable. We use technologies to transform organic materials into synthesis gas (syngas), methane, ethylene, which are rich in hydrogen and carbon, which can be used to generate electricity and biofuels.
For our part, unlike incineration, gasification occurs in a controlled oxygen atmosphere, that is, with little or no presence of oxygen to minimize the pollutants generated during the process and drastically reduce carbon emissions.
In addition to preventing the accumulation of waste in landfills and landfills, we contribute to the Sustainable Energy Transition, promoting circularity with this waste and a clean world in the future.
With this innovative technology, we give a new life to urban waste to generate clean energy for the world!
1
Waste Collection and Preparation We begin by collecting agricultural, forestry or urban waste. These materials are then prepared for processing, which may include grinding or drying, to facilitate the extraction of sugars.
2
Pre-treatment The prepared residues undergo pre-treatment to break down the lignin and expose the cellulose and hemicellulose, making the sugars more accessible for the hydrolysis step.
3
Hydrolysis and Fermentation In hydrolysis, enzymes are used to convert cellulose and hemicellulose into simple sugars. These sugars are then fermented by specific microorganisms to produce ethanol.
4
Distillation and Purification Ethanol is separated and purified through distillation, resulting in a high-quality biofuel, ready to be used or sold.
